01 Project goals:
Established in 2016 Atomic Arts Studios is a team of Visual Effects Artists, Producers, and Technical Directors who are fueled by their passion to bringing artistic visions to life through cinematic medium. Having worked on major blockbusters like Alter Carbon, Game of Thrones, Stranger Things, and more, they needed a way to bring their entire body of work together and present it all in an aesthetically pleasing way.
02 Client's requirements:
- Client shared a few inspiration sites they liked.
- It should reflect the branding of the site they have for the London location.
- Should be easily editable.
- Wanted to fetch projects from their other site which is also designed and developed by us.
- Well optimized for all sizes and browsers.
03 What we did?
That’s where we came in. We assessed that the best way to help them and to make their work examples more accessible would be to create a Portfolio website. Our designs placed their body of work on the homepage so that it can be quickly accessed by the site visitors. Not to forget the background video that plays from the moment the site loads and draws users in and immerses them in the adventures the Atomic Arts team helped bring to reality.
Process Involved:
- We chose a theme that gave a feel of what they needed.
- Started with the instruction of keeping and getting rid of the sections.
- Customized theme with the logo, branding and made the site responsive.
- Worked on API to fetch projects and reels from their other site.
- Then the site was made compatible with all devices on approval of the desktop version.
- Deployed the site on the server.
04 Results:
The site visitors and prospective clients now can learn exactly the quality of work they will get from the Atomic Arts team from the Home Page itself and without ever needing to scroll down they can easily find all the contact details from the user-friendly site menu thus driving a greater number of conversions.
